Network-wide piece concept: Economy Light includes 1 piece (up to 23kg). Economy Essential and Flex include 2 pieces (up to 23kg each). Premium Economy includes 2 pieces (up to 23kg each). Business Class allows 2 pieces (up to 32kg each), and First Class allows 3 pieces (up to 32kg each).
Change policy
Economy Flex and Standard fares offer maximum flexibility for date changes and refunds. Light and Essential fares incur higher change fees and may be non-refundable. Upgrade and award ticket rules are governed by the Cathay loyalty program.
Check-in
Online and mobile check-in opens 48 hours before departure. Airport bag drop counters strictly close 60 minutes prior to departure. Passengers traveling to North America are advised to arrive earlier for additional security screening.
